USB 2.0 card Questions?

I have purchased an Ipod, and you need USB 2.0 to use it. I know I don't have USB 2.0. But i was wondering in the USB card, there is an Internal connection besides the PCI connection. Now what is that internal connection for and does one need to use that to use the Card itself, or is the PCI connection enough??

Also do you need a version of the PCI drivers(2.1, 2.2, etc), to beable to use the USB 2.0??

The IPOD should work okay with USB 1.1, just slower.

The other connection on the USB2.0 card is for hooking up something internally, like a front mounted mem card reader or front mounted USB ports.

The card will come with the drivers it needs. WinXP likely won't need any drivers.
