I have an external USB 2.0 hard drive that I need to be able to ghost machines from. I have everything working fine on it... it boots from USB, goes directly into ghost and begins imaging the drive.

The only problem is that I can't find DOS support for USB 2.0, so the transfer is stuck going at USB 1.1 speeds. Has anyone gotten USB 2.0 to work under DOS mode?

This is the only one I know of that mostly works
with DOS and USB 2.

Scroll down to the Download section and look for
"Cypress USB Mass Storage Driver" New! Version 4.4 of DUSE.EXE

DOS has no USB support of its own. Any support you are getting is via the BIOS and they are generally set up just for getting the system up and running with basic USB kbd/mouse functions. You are probably lucky to be getting any DOS USB functionality at all. Check the web site of the external drive/case maker to see if they have a DOS USB 2. driver. Or search the
driver CD that came with it. I don't hold out a lot of hope.

Yes, I got it to work with that DUSE driver for DOS. It was a little quirky... I had to leave the drive unplugged and let the driver load, and then plug the drive in after that and let it detect the connection. After that, it worked in 2.0 just fine.
