Go to your device manager and it should say if it's 2.0 or not.

Celeron 500? Definately 1.1.... With out a doubt, period. Not even PIII 1ghz machines had USB 2.0, hell P4 2GHZ machines (400FSB) didn't have USB 2.0, all 1.1, so you with out a doubt have 1.1, unless you put an add-in card.
