USB 1.1/2.0 extensions?

Anyone know the maximum length that a USB 1.1 or a USB 2.0 cable can be? I'm throwning a computer in the back of my pickup truck, and I was thinking about getting an external USB 1.1/2.0 Liteon burner, but first I need to know if i'll be able to actually use the cable extensions to reach. The cable won't be longer then about 10 feet. Think it'll work?

You'll have no problems as the max length on USB 2.0 cables are 5m's and I've gone further...if you have to go past the 5m then you can add 1 hub between evry 5 m's...
