I was wondering what origional USB 1.0 equipment (i.e. cables, hubs, ect.) is compatable with USB 2.0. I've seen cable that is USB 2.0 compliant and was unsure if it is markiting hype or a different cable like cat 3 vs. cat 5? I don't want to buy USB cable and find out that I can't use it. My other option would be to look into making my own USB cable out of the cat 5 cable I have. Will it work, or is the wire too fine for the power requirments? And what about using existing cat 5 cable to run a small USB network?
