message?
thread?
article?
post?
what else?

I'm writing some blog software and I'm trying to figure out what the best term to use is from a usability perspective.

A boring ramble not worthy of REAL publication? :p

Usability perspective: Don't make me read anything.

Some of them are interesting, some are stupid sh!t, depends on who writes them.

99% of them are meaningless dribble from people we don't care about. The only ones worth reading are those from somewhat popular figures: Mark Cuban Joe The Intern, etcetera.

ok, we all know about how awful most blogs are. actually the software I'm writing is designed to repel the attention whore kiddies and attract thoughtful authors (by making the human interface very functional and boring)
