We'll know 2 weeks in who should be on top between 1 and 2.

Crazy that ND and USC are tied for 3 and 4.

Wonder what OU would be ranked post-Bomar news (not 13 1st place votes for sure)

Personally I'm suprised that Texas is that high for an unproven QB. Of course, I could be bias :p

GO BUCKS!!!!

Whoo, OSU wins first-place votes by a landslide. Looks to me like it was undeserved, but... :p

Wow, Colorado only got 1 point. I figured us finally firing the idiot Barnett and getting a great coach in Dan Hawkins would at least result in 20-30 points.

<------ Utah alum and big Utah fan

Utah at #28!

We'll see how Wittingham does 2 years removed from riding on Urban Meyer's coattails.

Both my teams (LSU and UGA) are in the top 20, so I'm happy. Now I've just gotta see how they both do...especially since they're playing each other over here in Baton Rouge this year. Yeehaw.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Auburn didn't get a shot at the national championship two years ago because #1 and #2 stayed #1 and #2 all through the year while Auburn started out in the lower teens.

Go Irish. Last year for Quinn and company to win the championship.

I think OU will drop down to top 10, maybe top 15. They have Oline and QB issues to deal with.

Texas is ranked so high because they have unbelievable talent, so the QB can be brought along slowly this year.

OSU alum

LOVE their offense

9 new starters on D - a lot to ask for a #1 team

Just like last year, the OSU-TEXAS game is pretty much the best non-conference game of the season

I couldn't be happier with OU's problems - their coach is an 4ss

The championship race is wide open this year. Texas and USC have to reload at quarterback. Notre Dame? The same Irish team that got exposed by Ohio State last year and hasn't won a bowl game since 1993? And Ohio State has a killer schedule. Texas, Penn State, Iowa, Michigan...
