USA Pc Components

Hi, I'm in the USA at present on an extended vacation, noticing the prices of components are far cheaper over here I was wondering if I would have any problems buying a few items over here and installing them in a UK machine. I'm thinking an Epox 8RDA+ M/b, Barton 2500 CPU, and maybe a Radeon 9600 Pro, this would save me about 150 dollars.
I'm guessing the Airport machines wouldn't give me a problem as people put there Laptops through all the time and the power supply takes care of any voltage issues.

Welcome to the forums, ScotBoy. There shouldn't be any problem running US hardware on a UK machine. It's just identical hardware sold on 2 different sides of the pond. I don't know much about airport security, so I can't help you there.

I don't think you'll encounter any problems. Since you are not purchasing a PSU (110v/230v business), your components should do fine! If there's a reason for concern, it would probably be hard disk drives. But since notebooks are routinely scanned.. and I haven't heard any scrambled HDDs.. it should be OK !
