This may be just a talking point after losing alot of steam sounding like an idiot in recent debates... but Rick Perry is saying he could send US troops to combat cartels in Mexico if elected.
Now, when you look at the fact that we're occupying 2 otherwise harmless countries across the world while we have a country next door that is running around decapitating people on a daily basis and posting a horrific account of their deeds on the internet, you'd think the logical move would be to protect our own country and not be way overseas.
I do however wonder what sort of backlash we could face in america if our military went south of the border and started whiping out cartels...
Outside of my concern of cartel backlash inside of the US, I think it is a logical move to take them out.
Or just legalize some drugs and make drug laws less beneficial to cartels in the first place.
