This country can't afford another war (muchless the pen and paper to sign a draft.)

Of course we can, just go deeper into debt, it's the american way.

I would serve if required to do so. My only problem would be the food, I'm a really picky eater. I'd have to get over that pretty quick.

that isn't the way it'll happen, there won't be a draft due to NK

exactly, but if I was drafted, I would go. 🙂

I am a citizen of a great country (even if I don't totally agree with our current president <I don't vote on party lines BTW just whoever I agree will do a better job which is hard to figure out with politicians> )

I would try to serve my country in a way that I thought would be best. I could probably be placed as a medic or something, but with the shortage right now, I would probably end up just like everyone else.

I would serve if drafted. As far as I'm concerned the, albeit remote, possibility of draft is part of the cost of living in the US. My wife would probably drug me as soon as the draft notice came though and I'd wake up in Canada or something. That having been said, I'm looking forward to my birthday in August when I turn 26 and will no longer be eligible.

That's a tough one for me...I think the thought of being in Canada scares me as much as going to war. 😀
