Hamas is getting Exactly what they have been asking for. I say good, run the whole population of the Gaza into the ocean and they will all be better off for it.

Its a good thing that no one on earth is asking for the opinion of a fucking retard then.

Yes, typical and generalised hate speech that is commonly presented here, often as above by long term regulars who ought not to plead ignorance to what is and is not welcome on other people's property. Evidently, as such hate speech is too regular, an endemic and ill publicised culture of AnandTech's P&N.

Pcgeek11 is concisely advocating the violent extermination of Palestinians.

Shocked they didn't offer to toss Netanyahu's salad in that unanimous consent. Really makes me question their commitment to Israel.

Color me surprised. This is akin to propaganda. I'm embarrassed at the US when I read stuff like this.

Again, I think people who hold dual citizenships shouldn't be allowed to be Congressmen.

It's an election year & nobody is willing to cross the Israeli lobby.

Any questions?

They had it, but got greedy and wanted their neighbors house also.

Problem was their neighbor refused cooperate and acted in kind. turning the other cheek works in the new Testament, not the old or the Koran which implies and eye for an eye.

How many new "settlements" has Palestine erected on the wrong side of the border after bulldozing the previous occupants?

The US supports Israel, but during WWII the US was fairly silent on the matter of Jews.
It wasn't until Japan pissed us off that we entered the war.
I find it hard to believe many US leaders and politicians did not know exactly what was going on during WWII with the jews trapped in Germany.
So its like we have this knee jerk reaction for aways supporting Israel 100%.
But somehow i see a disconnect when you get right down to it.
I don't know if the US really supports Israel that much, or more so aligns with those that support Israel, not to risk falling on the wrong side of politically correctness.

The world did not know the full extent of what was happening with the Jews in WW2 until they found the camps. Did you fail history?

So you think that it is fine that the Palestinians have the eradication of Israel and its people as its primary goal as fine then?

Is that what you are saying?

I'm saying that the Palestinians are too stupid to stop. The ONLY way they are ever going to have any lasting peace from these terrorist is to drive them into the sea and be done with it. Terrorist only understand brutality.

Isn't Israel only responsible for the last image and largely because multiple countries decided to attack them?

Yep. I mean Hamas has only openly and repeatedly called for the total annihilation of Israel and repeatedly attacked its civilians but as soon as a few Palestinian civilians get killed some people scream bloody murder. You won't find much more hypocrisy than that.

They may not have known about everything but as early as 1940/41 information was getting out to the allies. Certainly by 1942 they had been informed of a campaign of extermination being conducted by the Germans against the Jews.

They probably were, but the extent of how extreme it was was pretty much unknown ATT.

I know when a lot of the Allied troops actually saw it they where shocked when they actually got to them.

By 1942 total war already existed against the Nazis, so your point is what, exactly? What were we supposed to *do* about it prior to 1942, anyway?

Generalised hatred and supremacist extremism to exterminate populations is an all too common theme presented by some of you regulars. I recall this recent post:

Finally, a heads up to Zebo and werepossum and Nebor. While Nebor often posts for troll-like effect, along with Z and possum, I "know" all three of you to be intelligent and non-simplistic people. And yet, crude generalization posts you have made in this thread are neither, imho, and disturb and even anger me.

Caution: high dudgeon from me will soon follow. You might consider it-- what's the word I'm looking for here? -- ahhhh, yes, a crusade! :colbert:

My "point" was to inform him that he was incorrect in his declaration.

In that, you are in error. The full extent of Nazi atrocities (what he actually said) was not known until the liberation of concentration camps. War being what it is, it was impossible to know prior to that.

It is very much America's assumed & unwarranted guilt trip over the holocaust that colors our judgment to this day. We didn't do it, nor were we complicit. Only when we shed that will we be able to see our Israeli friends in an honest light. If white supremacy is bad, how can Jewish supremacy be good? Or Muslim, Hindu, Catholic or Protestant, for that matter?

In truth, you can see the same murderous sentiment the Nazis held against the Jews, the Roma & the Slavs expressed against the Pals in this thread & many others.
