I would have agreed before, and in some sense I still do. I also agreed with it some months ago before Iraq. Now, I view these statements with greater suspicion.

Distortion of the word "right". I guess I have the "right" to take out my neigbour if he pisses me off if I have the means to do so and can prevent anyone from stopping me. The proper word is "might" not "right". This is the "value" the US is bringing to the world, that might is right.
