US Sailing Certification

I am interested in getting my US Sailing Basic Keelboat Certification and was wondering if anyone knew of a (relatively) inexpensive way to go about .... I can sail a dinghy and have been crewing on a 24 foot boat for about a month now (will probably continue to do so until late August or so ... so I know/will know my way around boats fairly well) I live in California and classes in either Northern or Southern are fine ... the cheapest alternative I've found so far is via Orange Coast College .... around 400 bucks for the classes and certification. Thanks.
