US Robotics winmodem driver

I'm trying to setup my old computer, before give to my friend.
I couldn't find the install disk, so I'm trying to download it from 3com website. I tried 3 different drivers with no avail.
I could read the product code from the card, it's 005699-00. When I put this code on their site, it's showing it's not available. Well, it's pretty old one anyway.
I tried 4 files, 569900w, 569900nt, 569800, but the wizard can't find file 569800turbovbf.vxd on it. By the way, the modem is yellow flagged in device manager showing Us Robotics Winmodem INT.
What is this INT? When I picked this from hardware list of installing wizard
it's saying I need the file 568300winmodem.
Any idea?

Hey, I had the same problem as you. What I did was I searched for the serial number on the modem chipset and I found the drivers that I needed. Hope that helps you!

It should be right below upc, right? It reads SN:23ALA22472EF. And right below is PRODUCT:005699-00.
Was the product no. matched with the driver file name, like 569900W.exe?

I don't remember exactly, but just make sure you find the right *inf file. After you search for the serial number from you modem chipset, it should return a list of sites that still have those old modem drivers available for download (usually sites that have sold systems, and offer drivers for those systems). What happened to me, was Quantex apparently closed down, and so I had to look for my drivers elsewhere.

Still, looking around. The code on the chip didn't find anything. Well, I've got to try every file under winmodem. If windows says the card is winmodem, it should be one, right. Or, it could be wrong?

I give up.
I'm running to Compusa to get those 4.88 Smartlink modem.
