I just completed building a computer using a US Robotics modem. I didnt have the updated drivers so I used the generic drivers that windows xp pro came up with. I have never have been connected this fast using a dial up modem. Connecting every time at 54,000. Today I downloaded the US Robotics latest drive and the fastest time is 52,000.
The requirements on the box says windows 2000. But, I just got done building a new machine using XP. I wonder what the chance that the fax software will work with XP? Is there a fax program already built in to windows xp pro?
