Well, I have a USR (8514) and it is completely sad. I would not recommended to anyone I don't hate. Bloody thing keeps revoking connection to wireless nic.

I've had bad luck with USR rebates in the past, they will never get my business again if it involves a MIR.

Just giving a heads up, the deal is tempting but I haven't heard anything about this model.

The reviews don't seem to bad and there's a lot of them. I'm not seeing 19.99 AR I'm seeing 69.99 minus two $20 rebates making it 29.99. And the rebates expired the day you posted :(.

3Com bought them in 1997 :) That is like not knowing what happened to 3DFX...

From my experience, 3Com has been better with wired devices than wireless.

this deal is extremely hot with the gaming adapter. the gaming adapter will work with any gaming system or even computer. linux users looking for a network card will greatly appreciate how much easier it is to use a gaming adapter instead of an internal or usb wireless card. I actually just purchased this item for the gaming adapter instead of the router.......

I heard this gaming adapter doesn't support WPA encryption which means if you want to use it on your wireless network you will have to drop down to WEP encryption.

Well folks, so is this or is it not a reliable router ?

I need to get one for my parents, and well, I start work soon in a different city, so I don't want to get calls about "why the internet is down".
