I just want to know who i can send my thank you notes to over in Russia. Sure we have Trump.... but the reality of no Hillary.... thats golden.
YYup, thanks to the ideologically deranged like yourself, we have a traitor for President, but at least it's not a democratic patriot.

There was a time when if Republicans even smelled Russian that's draw their daggers and scream execution.

Yeah, I know. Thick as a brick. Fuck the country as long as a liberal is crying somewhere. You got your wish and you get to enjoy the ride down the porcelain. Have fun when you reach the small hole at the bottom.

Who cares what the ramifications are so long as the other side loses, right?

I get it Rudder, there hasn't been a good Republican President in 30 years, I understand the disappointment in the Bushes, I understand you feel left out.
Think about what you just said, did your last great President start out with help from a hostile foreign power, is that a good sign of success?

I will actually come to your defense on this, I was and still am a firm believer that Bernie should be and would have been our President if it weren't for the DNC and the Hillary Clinton campaign's collusion with the very Pro-Hillary supposed left wing media and the amount of free air time they gave to Trump and the lack of free air they to Bernie even though he was drawing those crowds of thousands of hopeful people. Instead of showing Bernie they usually had up on their screen an empty podium waiting on the arrival of Trump. Hell, even the great Thom Hartman was putting Bernie down during the primary. Chris Hayes would hardly give Bernie any coverage and when he did it was usually with a lot of snark. But now he's going to the rural South with Bernie doing all these town halls. Gee, I can't imagine why he's doing that now.

For the long play, this may be shaping up to be better than expected.
This was going to happen sooner or later(vs. russia) and as it looks now you, the US, is swinging back in control, Donnie is on his way out and the US is one hell of an experience richer and stronger for it, next time you will know what is coming. Suppose Bernie won, you might not have been able to win the bout if the fight had been postponed 4 years.
Right now I am more worried about a North Korea incident. Donnie and Co is caught in a corner, needs a way out: War.

One other thing keep in mind a troll army will turn on Trump the instant he takes steps that Putin does not approve of. The possible outcomes are:
A) Trump acts in a way to please Putin for 4-8 years
B) A more realistic event is Putin cuts him loose to cause more chaos in the US.. Imagine all the fake & semi fake news a troll army could dig up against Trump

Spot on. He needs a war to 'unite' the country against a common enemy. North Korea is certainly shaping up to be that enemy. The big unknown is who makes the first move and how Beijing reacts.

It would be awesome if someone solved the North Korea problem.
Given that it would involve working very closely with several foreign powers and a bunch of delicate diplomacy I have my doubts that the orange womble would be the man for the job!

Why do you fear the Russians so much? Discounting Putin of course who likes to murder people.... but he is Russia's problem. It is not the 1950's and the Soviets are not trying to dominate the world. Russia is looking out for Russian interests.... just like China is doing and just the like U.S.A. does.

And for arguments sake.... lets say Trump was involved in some treasonous activity. I certainly would not defend that.... but how come leftists always ignore democrat politicians who collude with the Russians? The left kept Ted Kennedy in office after he not only culluded with the Soviets.... but sought out the KGB to help defeat Reagan. How screwed up is that?

No ramifications for the divisiveness that would have ensued had Hillary been elected? The three branches of government will keep Donald in check.... I don't beleive that would have been the case with Hillary. Just look at President Trumps nomination for the supreme court.

There were serious consequences to consider had either been elected. Despite leftist brainwashing.... Trump is not going to start up internment camps, become a dictator, or nuke anyone.

North Korea is starving. Dear leader is huffing and puffing because he needs aid. At least this administration is not so quick to capitulate to North Koreas demands. Giving them aid everytime the country could not make it on their own has not worked so far.

Wut?

Russian interests involve raising the status and power of Russia on the world stage.

You understand that bit yeah?

Russia is in competition with all the other World powers.

Still following?

So Russia can compete by raising itself up or pulling down those above it. Raising itself up is difficult due to its economy and relationships with its rivals. Whereas Russia, being centrally managed, nationalistic and distrustful of foreign powers, and having a powerful state apparatus, is ideally suited to "dirty tricks" foreign policy.

Now you can carry on claiming that they aren't doing anything untoward but its your country they are trying to fuck up the arse. You can close your eyes, think nice thoughts and let them carry on or you can try to stop them.

So the past should dictate the present, the future? How is what you are saying in any way logical? You say you wouldn't support treason but if it is happening, well it would only be fair.
