Well, most species of sharks are on the endangered list, just cause they are government they didn't have to mess with the red tape like Dr Evil, couldn't they have used mutated, ill-tempered sea bass instead?

 
That is awesome. If we can even get animals to gather intelligence for us...wow. Cool stuff, but inevitably the sharks will become super smart and turn on us.

I wonder how many different types of sealife the US government went through before choosing a shark as the test project. I am going to be very curious to hear about DARPA's progress on the project.
