Good, must be Clinton's doing since the effect of Bush's economic plan won't be felt until he is no longer president!

One thing I like about the overreaction to every piece of news:

I made $1200 on the market last Wednesday. And another $1300 today.

I read an interesting article in the economist a while back where they speculated that John Snow and the treasury team are deliberately driving down the dollar in order to speed up the economic recovery in time for the elections. Guess it must be working, since manufacturing would benefit the most from a weak dollar.

To this point it is fairly certain that there is probably going to be another technology & manufacturing upturn coming soon. It is a matter of when is it going to take place. I would fully like to see some substantial movement in closing down the tax loopholes that allow companies to outsource high paying jobs overseas. You know that there are quite a few telemarketing firms and collections that are calling you from a foreign country? In some cases it has been so blatently stupid it just amazes me how American companies have sold america down the river for the extra buck. If they did close the holes that arnold could drive his hummer through, just think how much quicker the economy would pick up. Suddenly millions of jobs would be back here in the US, where they belong. :)
