Where are those $2.4 billion per year going to go to is the better question. They are going to go to create jobs building new, cleaner, power plants. End result is people are going to have jobs and the air is going to get cleaner.

Do you think that the power companies burn consumers' money to make electricity, or what? I mean, yeh, some of it will disappear into the black hole of corporate profits, but the rest pays wages & bills for operations, fuel, PR and whatever. I thought you were in favor of that- well, the first part, anyway.

To put it into terms Righties luvs & understand- nobody makes you use electricity, right?

In macroeconomic terms, spending is spending, whether it goes to the power company or to WalMart for more schlock from Guangdong...

We're probably better off when it goes to the power company, anyway.
