US, Israel Pull Out of UN Racism Conference

IMHO this conference was doomed before it started and was not going to be productive. If anything it was setting back progress already made.

That conference was nothing but a feel-good for bleeding heart liberals. A total waste of time and money for everyone involved, and I'm glad we pulled out of it.


No offense to anyone, it's just my opinion.

yeah I jsut read this up on yahoo. funny how they were targeting Israel. well not really funny but..... oh well. they'll still continue the conference. The US won't be giving any of its input. plus they only sent a midlevel rep to the conference. They weren't happy with the language so they can pull out if they want.

Its also kinda funny how the US and Israel say that they were willing to compromise but the united arab front would not and vice versa.
