I have long felt that the military tribunals at Gitmo were one of the most shameful by-products of our country's reaction to 9/11. I find it disgraceful that we have left these people in limbo for three years without charging them with a crime or allowing them to consult attorneys. I think history will not look kindly on our treatment of these people, and in many respects I think the tribunals are even worse than the Japanese internment camps in WWII.
