Germany and Japan attacked our vessels at sea and Japan invaded Hawaii unprovoked.

I am surprised you did not mention we invaded Korea, the Phillipines, Guam, VietNam, Somalia, etc.

When it comes to Iraq, I was against invading a country that was not attacking us. It got us nothing but a bunch of dead and crippled Soldiers and a large Bill our children will have to pay.

The German and Japanese citizens were not suffering from religious insanity. They had a much higher "rationality" factor than the people in the Middle East. Also, much of the problem we're seeing in the Middle East is based on religious/ethnic grounds, whereas the German and Japanese people were relatively homogeneous and not engaged in internal warfare.
Probably needs to be said that a large number of Afghanis and an even larger number of Iraqis are also not suffering from religious insanity. (I mean besides the ones that have it and enjoy it.)

I think we need to invade Saudi Arabia, and Dubai and go, "hey how you guys like that :p"

Then plunk down a few bases and watch everyone freak out and kill each other while we watch.

lol Now THAT sounds like a plan.

"I'm President Obama, and I'd like to publicly thank the Syrian government and people for helping us to invade saudi Arabia. Couldn't have done it without you guys."

"WHAT? We didn't -"

"KILL THE SYRIANS!"

"Wait!"

Phase 2: Publicly thank the Iranians.

Nah, paying bills is so twentieth century. In twenty-first century America, bills pay you.

Unfortunately dead is still dead though.
