US Armed Forces switch from humvees to minivans

yeah it would be funny if this actually happens. armor plated mini-vans with machine guns and grenade launchers coming out of the roof.

The U.S. military has complained it is inefficient to use Humvees to carry a few soldiers at a time, especially in noncombat situations.


so all they say is 'especially in noncombat operations', no mention of whether that is what they will limit their use of the minivans to...

they don't say specifically that they won't be using the minvans in combat situations, do they?

although i hope they don't for the solider's sake...

combat or non combat situations alike, i doubt a mini-van can run well in the desert.
