US Armed Forces Enlistment

Does anyone know the numbers of enlisted before and after Sept. 11th?
Is there a matrix or graph available online for reference?

I dont know exact figures, but enlistment went up quite a bit just after 9/11 with everyone's newfound sense of patriotism... since then, I'm pretty sure it's dropped back off because Bush sucks and is sending our boys to die for no reason. But that's for another thread, and another forum.

Not sure about other branches, but I know the Puddle Pirates (Coast Guard) in the mid-Nineties had more then enough recruits, and also had a problem with people staying in too long, and having to force them to retire when they got too old. Enlistment and retention were very high compared to other branches of the military, with a lot of people from other branches joining the CG after doing their time in the Army, Air Force, et cetera. Now it seems they are having trouble meeting their quotas.
