I agree with you also, although the reality of it is that Israel does exist and probably will continue to exist for as long as the Israeli's want it to. You could say the same thing about the USA, in that the manner in which it was created was less than perfectly considerate of the people that already lived there. I for one would like it if we at least didn't give the Israelis the weapons and amo that can be turned around used to kill Palestinians (right or wrong).

Hello welcome to the real world.

Lockheed Martin was in india recently beggging the Indian govermnet to buy F16's and proposed a joint developmental plan on F22 .. and offered low cost F1 trianer jets. The battle for replacemnt of India's 700 old rusty mig figthers is keenly contested between French Rafale, Euro fighter, Swedish Viggen, Ruski Su35 berkuts and US F16/18 types. A 700 plane upgrade is not a small thing.

Indian defense speinding is low $15 billion a year now but is expected to sky rocket to $50 billion a year within next 10 years. Same with China. China already is huge in defense and has a 3000 + plane air force. ( ok they are 1960's migs but still )

US companies want to block ISrael's sale cause they themselves are feeling the boot with Lockheed making heavy losses on its telecom and avionics dept .. and losing money on sales with Israel offering cheaper better re engineered products.

A huge market like India or China left alone to Israel will be devastating for Boeing, LKM, and Rayethon. Russia's decline is a major step in western products finding a market in these developing nations an emerging economies.

Why let the middle man Israel do more business ? Unlce sam is cutting its middle man.
