URL redirection

I am about to get a domain for my website, but I may move the site over to another server in a few months. My plan was to use a free URL redirection service of some sort so I could register my domain to that, and then I could change where my site redirects if I need to move servers. Is there something like this I could use that would keep my website as www.mydomain.com? I don't want people to see the URL redirecton, I just want them to see the domain.

companies like godaddy.com and hostway.com will allow you to register a domain name and point it to any server.

You either do it by providing the name server info of your website host or do a domain forwarding.

When you buy a domain make sure it is yours and that there is a Domain controller,
http://www.ezlan.net/myip#domain

The Domain controller let you enter the IP address to point the Internet DNS to the Host.

Therefore, you can change the Hosting service every other day and use the Domain Controller to point to the Host.
