urgh comcast outage again

been out since last night for me.

maybe I'm just spoiled, but having the internet go out for 24hrs every few weeks is not acceptable in my book.


I think I would switch to SBC dsl if I could convince my roommate that we don't need 6Mbps down
 
It was out here in Sanger (east of Fresno) yesterday morning because some construction workers building these new houses nearby dug into a line or something. It was restored within a few hours.

We would have gotten DSL of some sort, but it isn't available here--unlike Fresno and Clovis, the local phone company is Verizon, and they don't offer their DSL here either.
