I need some major help.
My uncle just dropped off his laptop for me to fix. It has Windows XP Pro loaded, and the operating system keeps starting over and over non-stop. When the computer is powered on, it boots all the way to the XP loading screen, then restarts in a never ending loop. It doesnt matter what boot option (using F8) I use. Meaning, choosing to start in Safe Mode does the same thing, choosing to start in VGA Mode does the same thing, choosing to start with Last Known Good Configuration does the same thing. I'm so confused. Keep in mind that it is a P4 VAIO laptop. I have started it using both the battery source, AND a power supply.
Also, anyone remember where you go in WinXP to create a start-up disk?
