Could someone suggest some exercises i can do instead of leg curl (hamstring muscle group) and leg extension (quadriceps muscle group) while i'm waiting for the Bowflex leg attachment to arrive? The only equipment i have available to me apart from the stock Bowflex is a jym bike.

On your own? Well, off the top of my head: lunges, squats, SKIPPING, run stairs, run backwards (but don't run stairs backwards), butt kicks, and cycling. That should about take care of it if you push yourself, and you'll get some cardiorespiratory excercise to boot. Enjoy!

There are only two leg exercises that really matter IMHO. Running and rowing. For running, I suggest running 5 days a week and doing 3 days of distance (3-5 miles) and 2 days of running sprints and hills.

For rowing, you also need to do a 5 day workout, and do the same thing. Only break it up into a 45-60 minute session at 24 strokes per minute and attempt to pull 2 minute splits, 3 days a week. On the sprint days, pull 3, 13 minute sessions for 28-32 strokes per minute and try to hit 1:50 splits.

I think there is one leg exercise that matters.

Squats.
Below parallel and low reps :)

They will kick your ass.

Hmm... not sure if you can do a "real" squat even with proper attachments on a Bowflex... stupid pulleys are at an angle so the resistance doesn't sit right.

But it's not like you can row or run with a blowflex either.
