*URGENT* What's the best way to keep a part of your tooth?

ndee

Lifer
Since about 2 months, I always had a little toothache but I thought it was nothing major. Today, that part fell out while I was chewing a gum. Now, what's the best way to keep the tooth cuz I hope the dentist can "glue" it in again tomorrow.

TIA

I don't think they can glue it together. Most likely he'll offer to install a crown, which will cost an arm and a leg. I know, I had it done 🙁

I hear you can put them in milk, but...

That sucks that your tooth broke. Hrm. The dentist can fix that even without the missing piece, though. He'd just put a... crown (thanks, couldn't remember the term). 😛

just called the 24/7 dentist and he told me that I don't need to keep the part of the tooth, they will just put in a "filling".
