urgent pagemaker help needed

I am trying to send my schools paper off to the printing company but we have ran into a problem. When trying to export to PDF it gives me a list of error messages about fonts it cant find. These error messages show after the distiller fails to convert it to PDF. All the stories are copied and pasted in from word, could this be part of the problem?

If you have the fonts on your system, there should be no reason it can't find 'em. Are you using Type1 or TT fonts? If I remember correctly, when you export to PDF, you have to specify "embed all fonts". Hope this helps, haven't used PM since InDesign 2 came out.

Damn I thought that said pacemaker when I first read the title. Was about to yell GO TO THE DAMN DOCTOR at you.

ok, now i get the error message %%[ Error: rangecheck; OffendingCommand: image; ErrorInfo: Decode --nostringval-- ]%%

But i fixed the problem with the fonts..

Any ideas?

How did you end up in charge of printing the newspaper again?

our paper has 1k/yr budget and for this issue we were forced to use a program (pagemaker) that is new to all of us. So please help if you can...
