Alright, I'm on one of my other PC's cause I restarted my main PC and when I turned it back on my keyboard only works in bios. I can't type my password. So I had to a method to clear out my P/W and now I can get into safe mode using that account. What I see is that my drivers say "Code 38" they don't work bla bla... So I try another keyboard... same thing comes up. So I get the CD for my Zboard drivers and install those... Nothing helps... every keyboard I try the thing just dies...

EDIT: Just checked and I have mouseware (logitech) drivers and apparently they cause issues, but I've had them installed and restarted many a times and nothing was wrong... should I remove them?

Oddest thing .

Using WindowsXP SP2

If anyone knows what to do, please tell meh!

If you are using a PS2 keyboard plug in a USB one.

If your using a USB keyboard plug in a PS2 one.

Then report.

Uninstalling the driver may help but I doubt it. Worth a try though you can always reinstall.

Lol...on my Chaintech Nforce3 mobo, PS2 only works in Bios as well. During boot unless I use a USB keyboard I get a 7F boot error.

So its USB only for me.
