Urgent!!! Need RAID 0 WinXP Pro Setup Help

Quick question... have XP Pro ready to install, Promise drivers loaded, and @ the screen where you choose the drive.

It has drive C:
Partitioned 39GB
Unpartitioned 39GB

Is this right?

Should it be listed as one big 78MB drive?

Mobo is A7V266E RAID.

I dunno. But check out the raid section of the kt7 faqs for XP installation at viahardware. Different mobo but same concept.

When you created the array (run auto setup) in the promise bios did it show a total size of 78GB?

If so them delete all the partitions and make one big one, or partition sizes to your liking.

The array is showing in the promise BIOS screen as 78GB... it consists of 2 IBM 40GB drives.

My question pertains more to Win XP installation.

It lists both drives separately, saying one is partitioned, the other isn't. But both are listed as C:.

Do I just go ahead and format it NTFS?
