Guys,

My system started to have this issue when I installed HD2600 XT. The problems: the monitor turned off by itself and the system was like in sleep mode. These happened when I tried to play a movie. I tried to wake it up but no good. So the only shoice I got was to hard reset it.

I tried to reinstall the driver, update it and even upgrade my PSU to a more powerful one. None of them worked.

Do you guys have any idea what's going on? This issue really stresses me out.

I haven't tried on gaming. I would assume it would do the same. There is no power save mode or something like that on the Vid card setting. Any idea?

Does it need a power connector from the PSU? If so, is it securely attached? When you reinstalled your driver, did you thoroughly clean out the old ones?

Doesn't really sound like a driver issue to me though.

All of my parts are brand new. I already tried it on my other rig (OS:XP) and the problem still not solved. I'm pretty sure it's the graphic card. Should I request RMA to Diamond?

There is no separate power connector. Yes I cleaned the previous driver using ccleaner. Maybe I set it up wrong (under windows)?

So it didn't work correctly on your other PC?

If that's the case, you should probably RMA the card.
