No it dosen't. I haven't run across a free one if my travels, but, in case you didn't know (you probably do though), the simple act of installing that file recovery program could destroy the data you are trying to recover.

A few months ago I did a bit of searching for a free prog like that for a friend of mine. Couldn't find anything. In the end he downloaded one thru a certain file sharing program.
Which was a touch ironic - he'd got the virus that ate his hd from a file he'd downloaded thru it in the first place...

If you really need the data that badly, pull the plug on the machine (so it doesn't clean up the deleted stuff), plug it into another machine, and use a sector editor to try and get some of the stuff off still.
I wouldn't recomment this if you don't REALLY need the data though.

update: nothing worked. It recovered the folder the files I needed (actually, my friend), but the files werent inside it. (???). Nevertheless I'll send $2.50 to the two members who PM'ed me and helped me-you know who you are.
