Are there any "slim" LGA775 coolers out there that don't need a backplate to install? Hoping to run a Q9650 at 100% load without going over 75°C (I'm retrofitting an already assembled system, and really don't want to have to take the whole system apart to install a backplate).
Dimension limitations:115x115x95 mm (LxWxH)
Note: stock Intel cooler is not an option (I've had bad experiences with them on this generation of CPUs).
Am I basically limited to some of the following coolers at best?: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...NG&PageSize=20
EDIT: seems like a backplate is the best way to go either way, temperature-wise. Looks like I'll be having to remove my motherboard after all.
