URGENT!! Just installed new video card...whats wrong!!

I just tried to install my new elitegroup 880gts.... when i tried to boot I just received a constant high pitch squeal... I cheeked and the fan for the video card wasn't spinning... my old card is in now..

Do I possibly have a power issue? I have a 350 watt PSU

did you plug the 6 pin power connector. the 350 watt is probably insufficient anyways

was looking on the card (wow that sounded stupid) but saw it afterwards ....where does it go?....ahh on the back....haha.wow..there it is

i am not sure what you mean by where does it go. if your power supply does not have the 6 pin connector then you should be able to use the adapter that converts two regular molex connectors to the 6 pin power connector.

What brand and model is your PSU.

While a 350W may be sufficient, it may not, depending on the 12V rail amperage.

The GTS requires a 6pin power connector that looks like this...

Sorry I meant the 6pin connector until I saw the black input on the back of the vid card....it literally blended in with the housing...it seems wot work well so far... Crysis is on med-med high 1920x1200 2x anti and it seems to work great...

your psu must be amazing to be able to rune the 8800gts. my old 450W psu barely ran a 8800gs.
