Urgent! If someone has my bank Account number, Bank Routing Numbe, Bank Name, and bank address, can they take money out?

I sold something on ebay and he wishes to wire the money to me ... someone plz help

No. All that stuff is printed on personal checks anyway,

Ummm, I think that coupled with your name could do it. At least I think they could buy some mutual funds or something with it. Id contact your bank first thing in the morning just to be sure. Hope everything works out for you

I highly doubt they can deduct money from your bank account with your written signature.

But I would not do it. I'd send a money order, or cashier's check, or PayPal, or Yahoo, or credit card.

If your bank doesn't offer 24/7 customer service, dump them. Go with Washington Mutual or some other bank.

Yes, it's enough for them to make out a fake check and then cash it... happened to someone I know - someone had gotten ahold of their bank account number, routing number, bank name and address and made up a fake check. The signature line had printed on it "No Signature Needed".... Happened twice, about 2 weeks apart, for the same amount (like $103.25 or something like that). Didn't even need the signature of the person whose account it was for the bank to cash the check and even let it clear. Needless to say, their account has since been closed as a result (closed it to prevent it from happening again).
