URGENT HELP WITH OUTLOOK

my OS got screwed.
it cant boot up anymore.
the data is still inside.
i need to retrieve the contacts and emails from my outlook.
they are VERY important.
i tried googling but none suggests anything about retrieving them from another PC.
please help.
all input much appreciated.

1) take ownership of the \Documents and settings\<username> directory you need to rescue stuff from

2) enable display of hidden files, and also system files/folders, in the Tools > Folder Options in Windows Explorer

3) search the \Documents and Settings\<username> directory for .PST files

4) import the Outlook.pst file into your working Outlook installation (File > Import/Export > etc etc). You may also want the Archive.pst file if important stuff was auto-archived there.

Just to add to what mechBgon has suggested, your PST files should be located at \Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook (assuming you are using Windows 2000 or XP).
