URGENT HELP! SATA HD - New builder! *AIM ME TO HELP PLEASE*

Alright, the issue is that I just built my first computer and so far everything is going smooth except I have an SATA hard drive and I'm not sure how to install it. I have an ASUS A8N 32 SLI Deluxe and I'm not sure how to isntall. I plugged the hard drive into the SATA1 thing in the motherboard and in my BIOS it's recognizing the hard drive as "Third IDE" or something like that.

My question is, I tried copying the drivers from the motherboard CD onto a floppy disk for the AMD 64 and everytime it says that the drivers are corrupted when I go into Windows and hit "S" to install the drivers or whatever.

I NEED HELP! Can SOMEONE PLEASE walk me through the setup on AIM?

My screen name is "Do The Paul" - PLEASE SOMEONE ASSIST ME!

copying drivers to a floppy? you shouldn't need to do that unless you are trying to set up a RAID array.

if the SATA is recognized in bios you are all set, install windows and then install the motherboard chipset drivers.

not sure what the problem is
