*URGENT* Help Needed!

For some odd/random reason, the videos I've recorded (using DxTory/FRAPS) appear horribly scrambled and messed up ONLY in Premiere Pro and Sony Vegas! They play just fine on any of the video players - VLC, WMP-Classic, and Quicktime. There isn't a single stutter or problem during playback but when I'm editing the video(s), for some reason, they are horribly scrambled.

The games I recorded include Borderlands 2, Saints Row IV, and Dishonored. Battlefield 3, on the other hand, appears just fine which is extremely weird. All the DxTory settings are the same for recording so it can't be that.

I thought it was a problem with the preview window (setting of some sort) and went ahead and rendered the video - they came out all scrambled and terrible. I tried three different videos and they ALL seem to have this issue.

I used the same settings to record so I'm not sure what's going on - PLEASE HELP!

I need to resolve this issue ASAP.

Thanks in advance.

Come on guys! Somebody has to know how to fix this(?)! 🙁

Here's an example of what I'm seeing:

WMP Classic:

in Sony Vegas Pro 12.0:

This is happening in BOTH Vegas and Premier Pro.

Also, BF3 and Metro Last Light work great - there is no distortion whatsoever. All the videos are recorded using the SAME settings in DxTory so I'm not sure what's causing this issue(!?).

The videos are all recorded in 2560x1600 @ 30FPS.

Have you installed any codecs? Have you installed any software or video drivers recently? Did this always happen?

Yes, I've installed the Lagarith Lossless Codec and the x264vfw (both 32-bit and 64-bit) codecs. They are needed for DxTory.

Many of the videos seem to be having this issue but videos recorded of some games, like BF3 and Metro LL, work just fine - they are all recorded with the same settings in DxTory using the x264vfw codec.

I would try removing the codecs. Have you recently installed a new video card driver?

I tried removing the x264 codec and the video wouldn't even open in Vegas or Premier Pro. It needs the codecs to be able to "see" the videos in the programs.

I installed the latest WHQL driver (327.23).
