I was trying to open an mp3 file but it was a .DAT file. So I changed it to open with iTunes and to do all files with .DAT. I was stupid I know. Anyway, all my .DAT files are set to open with iTunes. Is there any way I can change the .DAT files to not open with anything? I have Windows 2000

Regedit -> Delete "HKCR\.DAT"

Or:

Explorer -> Tools -> Folder Options -> File Types -> DAT -> Delete
