Urgent help needed!!! NT 4 networking(server, computer browser problems in Control Panel -->Services)

I'm new to NT4, just installed a machine and successfully connected to the server.

However, during boot-up, it says there are errors. Inside control panel --> services icon , the "server" and "computer browser" cannot be started.

When I manually start the "server" service, it says there is not enough space on the server, so it cannot be started, but I know the server has no any problem. Also the "computer browser" service cannot be started as well.

I'm using chinese NT4, so the names of the above terms may be different from the Englsih NT4, I hope someone understands my questiona and be able to help me..............I need to solve them quickly.

Hi,

The machine on which you just installed NT4, is it a workstation or a server? You connected successfully to a server. Does this mean that you are logging onto an NT domain? A little more information about the network and security policies might be useful.

Can you be more specific about the error messages you're seeing during boot?

You say that when you manually start the server service "it says there is not enough space on the server". (Also, if this is a workstation, why are you trying to start the server service?) Could you tell us exactly what error message or messages you are getting at this time? And include any specific error messages you get when you try to start the computer browser service.

Regards,
Jim

This machine is a workstation, log-in to a domain. I log-in as administrator.

About the error messages, will post the screen shots later when I return to office.

I've read that people have gotten the message about not enough space when the service pack isn't current. Did you loaded the latest service pack after the install?

Yeah, check service pack, also check to make sure your OS drive isn't low on space and also try increasing the max registry size in your System applet. Check your event viewer as well to make sure nothing else is triggering this.
