If I use the windows backup wizard on a drive A, and store it on a drive B, can I then use the backup to restore the data to drive B, without errasing drive B?
If that doesn't make sense, here's the situation. The computer has 2 drives. Both primary partitions, both have windows XP, both bootable. Drive A is failing. I want to move all the data to drive B, but drive B has data already. So I want to move all the settings and data to drive B, keeping drive A's settings, and both drives data, without moving it by hand. Hence, I want to use the windows backup utility. Is this possible?
