URGENT: Extra battery question...

If you get the extra battery the laptop can have BOTH batteries in at the same time, right?

Otherwise it'd be a pain to charge the laptop and then the extra battery and constantly switch.

The reason this is urgent is I have to make the order ASAP and if one of these laptops cant handle 2 batteries at once, the decision becomes EASY!

Um, I don't believe the V2000 can take two batteries at once. The only way it might is if it has one ot replace the optical drive and I don't think those are swappable on the V2000 series.

What would you guys recommend for someone who needs a small light laptop for taking notes and looking at powerpoint presentations in addition to the usual web surfing.

Its gotta be somethign LIGHT.

for some reason I feel like Windows laptops get outdated faster than Apple ones...is there any basis to that?

The iBook 12" seems to get excellent battery life...I haven't got mine yet, but people say they can easily get 5 hours out of it, and I've seen others claim taht they can get close to 6.

Most Dells with modular drives can. You take out the optical drives and insert the extra battery.

Look into their latitude range.
