Urgent: Excel help

Sorry to post in here, but I'm having excel trouble here at work and can use help quickly!

Whenever I copy and paste a formula, the formula copies over fine, but it will not calculate a new value. It'll paste the formula with the value of whatever cell i copied from.

Does anyone know how to fix this? It doesn't matter what worksheet I'm in, a new one or another one. They all do this. Please help!

yea i'm just using a regular formula. =B2+B1 (for example) and it'll copy over, but the value doesn't change 🙁

See the post above. It's probably an issue of relative addressing.

Try =$B$1+$B$2

if I exit the spreadsheet and reopen it, the values are the correct calculated values! Why is it not "refreshing" the values when I'm working on it?

Tools >> Options >> Calculations

Check Automatic Calculations
