That's my understanding... maybe we could email Mika and ask him if he can provide a list of everybody submitting data from 8007 clients.

I have a different problem. I am using client ver 2.8010.462 on two of my computers which do RC5 and it looks like the clients are not updating the buffers automaticaly since yesterday. I am using Mikas pproxy. I did not have any problems before, I didn't change anything and the manual -update still works without a problem. So I suppose that it has something to do with OGR as my problem started exactly when OGR startd. I don't know if the other computers that do RC5 for me work as they supposed to do as I can't check those puters easily.
Any suggestions? Am I the only one that has this problem?

Bobber Fett,You are right.
The following is from http://www.distributed.net/download/clients.html:

<< v2.8009.460+ (July 7th 2000)
Client version v2.8009.460 will be the minimum build from which OGR results will be accepted from, even though earlier builds on some platforms included preliminary beta OGR support. Please be sure to verify all of your installed client versions.

Perhaps you could look at your PProxy logs and see if anyone is submitting to you with an old client. Jator has already done this.

This hijacking occured late in the day yesterday and the RC5 stats albeit slow ,were not disappointing.I fear the hijacking has taken many cows by surprize and the clients will need to be reset to crack RC5 first instead of last as the default says. There are lots of posts on this from yesterday and info on how to make the change,if you so choose to do so. I intend to stay with RC5 until we win, then I will switch to Seti or OGR or whoever needs the help.I can aford the electricty to keep my herd cracking.

I'll bet todays stats will be in the toilet by comparison.

Remember that all the teams are on a level playing field, hopefully we will still have #1 in RC5 because our competitiors will also have some cows switching automatically too. Hehe, it might not even affect our estimated time to overtake /. :)

Bober Fett,
Do you know who the other PProxy people are? Could you e-mail them to check their logs as well? I'm guessing that the log is the only place to identify the client level and user id. If this is the case, Mika can only identify those coming directly to him.
Thanks.

Unfortunately, I believe /.'s faq stated that clients should be set up for RC5 only by changing the prioreties.
I took a quick glance at team stats for OGR (for yesterday) and I don't recall seeing any blocks from /.

Hopefuly we can keep outpacing them even with some emmigration from Rc5
