A pc with some critical data (isn't that always the case) has crashed (HD error) and the data is not accessible. It appears to have lost all partition information, and I think there is a bad sector on the drive. Are there any good recovery tools that will recover files from the Linux FS? Or am I screwed and should I just send it in to a data recovery shop?
