I'm looking for an alternative way to cool my cpu's. My machine is standing in a fairly hot controlroom at my recording studio. so fans are just pumping hot air out of the cab to suck it back in, i can't move the machine out of the room, cause scsi daisy chain max. lenght is 15meters. what i'm looking for is water, oil, other weird cooling ideas...

Help me out!

Why not cool better the room? With a good AC?
If its not possible go for water cooling.
Your problem seems to be the ambient temperature, not the cpu cooling.

i agree with rafael. i have the same problem in my room. it gets very humid, and i have no ac :( so my temps spike up to 53C idle. but when the weather is cool (like in teh morning), my idle is 47C. the room temperatute makes a big difference. you could put all the case fans you want, and it won't make a big difference, because they're just pumping hot air in and out.

cool the room

You have a big problem. The only way to cool the CPU below the room temperature is to use chilled water or liquid N2 (crazy!). Basically you need something that is below the roms temperature. Chilled water will have the danger of condensation and computer destruction. Couldn't you duct some air from a cool room, etc. right to the computer?
